The third annual Crunchyroll Expo is happening this upcoming Labor Day weekend, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. They are working hard to make the experience special for anime fans. Here are some things to look forward to at this year’s convention.
The company announced that they will be bringing a new riveting experience that anime fans are going to love. Called New Crunchy City, it will give you a chance to experience anime in a new light. Crunchyroll has yet to release specifics however they promise you won’t be disappointed!
Horror fans get ready! Junji Ito, author of horror mangas Tomie and Uzamaki, will be a guest at Crunchyroll Expo. Last year Crunchyroll released the Junji Ito Collections anime series featuring several of Ito’s stories.
Crunchyroll partnered up with Quidd, bringing fans exclusive sticker and trading card collections such as Hime-chan, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, and DARLING in the FRANXX. Quid is the biggest social market place for digital stickers, GIFs, trading cards, and 3D digital toys! The sticker and trading card collections are now available to download in the Quidd app on iOS and Android, but it doesn’t stop there! Be on the look out for future anime collections to come, including Mob Psycho 100, Black Clover, Re:ZERO, The Ancient Magus’ Bride, Haikyu!!, Bananya and more, on the Quidd app.
