If you got a high from Pokemon Go! when it first released, get ready to go into a nostalgic coma with this Pokemon Let’s Go!
Just watch Cali Tea’s VERY accurate reaction to see why (and to get caught up! Go! Go! Go! Sqeeee!).
Then, I’ll tell you a little more about it. And if you can’t get enough of everyone’s excitement, go ahead and check out these 27 Black gamers who uploaded their reactions to the news on YouTube!
Did you watch it?? Okay, good! Now let’s dig into the juicy deets! *Birdman hand rub*
Pokemon Yellow IRL?!
Pokemon Let’s Go, as described by director Junichi Masuda, was inspired by Pokemon Yellow. And also like Pokemon Yellow, it’ll be in the Kanto region!!
And what’s in the Kanto region? Everything from the original 151 Pokemon, to Professor Oak and Team Rocket!
All which is expected to be in the game, and more! (Like the Pokeball Plus you hold and use to catch and control Pokemon!)
The Two Versions Of This Game
There’ll be two versions of this game: Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu!, and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee!. The only difference between the two is that your starter Pokemon can be Eevee or Pikachu (#TeamEevee, sorry not sorry!).
Oh yeah, and you can’t evolve them, but you can dress them up! Any other Pikachus or Eevees you catch in the wild can evolve though.
Here’s Why You Need To Re-Download Pokemon Go!
It seems like the main reason to use Pokemon Go again is for transferring Pokemon, but you’ll also be able to use the Pokeball Plus with Pokemon Go.
And it wouldn’t surprise me if you’re able to strengthen your Pokemon to use in the Pokemon Let’s Go! games either!
Mark your calendars! This game releases November 16th, 2018!
