A Black Podcast Episode on Mental Illness You May Have Always Needed

Here's a Supportive Podcast Episode You'll Need On Your Worst Days

July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month and I’m so glad such a taboo topic in POC spaces is being talked about.

I learned through Instagram that it’s the 10-year anniversary of the US House of Representatives announcing July as Bebe Moore Campbell National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month (they announced it in May 2008).

Right before July, I came across Jas and Jam’s latest podcast episode on (and titled) Mental Illness.

It’s definitely worth listening to no matter where your mental health falls–they’re VERY passionate and well-versed on the topic. Unfortunately due to experience.

TW: Self-harm, sexual abuse, eating disorders, etc. are mentioned in this podcast.
